Carbon-Steel Shells
Rolled and welded carbon-steel pressure-vessel plate — galvanized air tanks are available for corrosive environments — engineered per vessel size for structural strength and long service life.
SFSP Air Tank · Certified vertical air receivers
Dynamik SFSP air receiver tanks are certified carbon-steel pressure vessels from 1,000 to 10,000 litres — storing compressed air at 11 bar working pressure in vertical designs, with horizontal configurations available on request. Choose painted air receiver tanks for indoor installations or hot-dip galvanized air tanks for outdoor and high-humidity environments. Every receiver is hydrostatic-tested, delivered with a full nozzle and instrumentation set, and built by Specialized Factory for Steel Products — KSA's industrial fabrication arm.

Rolled and welded carbon-steel pressure-vessel plate — galvanized air tanks are available for corrosive environments — engineered per vessel size for structural strength and long service life.
Designed to 12 barg with MAWP 12 barg at +90 °C; rated for continuous 11 barg operation at up to +60 °C.
Every vessel is hydrostatic-tested and shipped with name-plate data: MAWP, MDMT, serial number and year of manufacture.
Six standard connections — inlet, outlet, safety valve, drain, pressure gauge and service — in threaded couplings, positioned per GA drawing.
Four lifting lugs and a dedicated earthing lug on every receiver; 5,000 L and above add an 18-inch manway for internal inspection.
Fabricated in-Kingdom by Specialized Factory for Steel Products, with local spares, certified welders and KSA-wide technical support.
Durable industrial coating for indoor installations and standard environments — the economical finish with full pressure-vessel certification.
Zinc-coated inside and out for outdoor, coastal and high-humidity installations where corrosion protection is critical.
The receiver absorbs compressor pulsation and demand spikes, delivering steady pressure to tools and processes.
Stored air lets the compressor rest between demand peaks, reducing motor starts, energy use and wear.
Air cools in the receiver so moisture drops out — with a dedicated drain nozzle for easy removal before the air reaches tools.
Buffer capacity keeps production running through compressor maintenance or short outages.
Fewer load/unload cycles mean less power draw per cubic metre of air — cutting operating cost and motor wear.
Steady, slower airflow from storage lets refrigeration dryers and filters work at design performance for cleaner, drier air.
Three checks that match an SFSP receiver to your compressor and demand profile.
Receiver volume in litres ≈ compressor FAD in L/min ÷ 4 for steady loads, or FAD ÷ 2 for intermittent, high-peak demand.
All SFSP receivers are rated 12 bar MAWP for 11 bar operation — correct for standard 8–10 bar plant air; confirm safety-valve set pressure on commissioning.
Vertical vessels keep floor area minimal; check overall height and the lifting-lug envelope against your installation and crane access.
Buffer & storage downstream of piston and screw compressors.
Stable plant-air supply for production and packaging lines.
Clean, steady air for processing and packaging lines.
Reliable instrument and process air for regulated production.
Heavy-duty receivers for demanding plant-air networks.
Air storage for aeration and process control systems.
High-demand tool operation and spray booths.
Instrument and plant air buffer for continuous duty.
An air receiver is a pressure vessel that stores compressed air between the compressor and your tools or process. It stabilizes pressure, reduces compressor starts, allows moisture to settle out and provides reserve air for demand peaks.
Design pressure (12 barg) is the basis of the vessel's structural calculation. MAWP — 12 barg at +90 °C — is the highest pressure the vessel may operate at. Normal operating pressure is 11 barg at up to +60 °C.
For steady demand, receiver volume ≈ compressor output (L/min) ÷ 4; for intermittent heavy peaks use ÷ 2. Example: a 1,000 L/min compressor pairs well with a 2,000–3,000 L receiver.
Carbon steel — the industrial standard for pressure vessels: strong, weldable, available in KSA and fully compliant with fabrication codes. Galvanized air tanks are available for corrosive environments.
Painted receivers suit indoor, controlled environments and offer the most economical finish. Hot-dip galvanized air receiver tanks are zinc-coated inside and out for outdoor, coastal or high-humidity sites where corrosion protection extends service life.
Yes. Every SFSP receiver is hydrostatic-tested and supplied with a name plate showing MAWP, MDMT, serial number and year of manufacture.
Models from 5,000 L upward include a ⌀450 mm (18-inch) manway for internal inspection and maintenance.
